Why Masonic: I chose Masonic because of its reputation for rigorous training, exposure to the patients that come to a level 1 trauma center, the opportunity to learn from midwives and physicians who use the alternative birthing rooms, the faculty’s experience with research and interest in supporting residents’ research, the real support for advancing my OMT skills, and—of course!—the depth of heart and connection in the program.
Professional Interests: Women’s health, clinical research, osteopathic medicine, alternative birthing.
Personal Interests: I like to eat all the Ethiopian & Middle Eastern food north Chicago has to offer, make ceramic organs and bones, watch our fruit trees grow, dye our dog’s hair, read Mary Oliver, drink sparkling wine, listen to Xmas music, run along the river, antique and thrift store shop, and spend time with my super awesome wife, Lia.
